Kari Everett Owner
Kari grew up in the Northwest in the timber industry. As an adult, she branched out into several areas including working with a land developer, real estate sales, and bookkeeping. Her husband, Gary, owned a heavy equipment repair business, and her sons grew up running heavy equipment as toddlers on their father’s lap. Starting a construction company seemed like a natural venture for her. She feels a person is never too old to learn, and she recently completed a Goldman Sachs Small Business program at Babson College in Boston, MA. Although Kari is not afraid to pick up a shovel and has tried running various pieces of equipment, it didn’t take her long to realize that her place is in the office, when she nearly tipped the skidsteer she was running. “I believe my employees are my most valued asset,” she says. “Giving back to the community is a very high priority for me.”
